Between us, we have 9 children, 2 dogs, innumerable instruments, props, puppets and paraphernalia. We have great fun developing and recording all our Clockwork Music material together and would love to see you at one of our classes very soon!
Karen Amos began her musical career as a professional singer, turning her attention to teaching with the arrival of her third child. A well-known figure in Oxfordshire pre-school music, she has fourteen years of experience in creating and delivering early years' music sessions. Karen passionately believes there is no age too young to start learning music!
My oldest daughter has been attending a music class with Karen for 3 years. She has so much fun every week, and has learnt a lot if different songs over the years. Karen chooses different themes, a variety of songs and dances, and allows the children to use a lot of different instruments. Highly recommend this class to anyone with small children/babies.
Claire Naylor is a music graduate from Oxford University and currently works as a music a music teacher in several Oxfordshire schools, teaching violin and piano as well as group classes. Her interest in pre-school music developed from seeing how much her own children enjoyed and benefited from music, from the earliest age, and wanting to share this with others.
Clockwork Music is one of our favourite events of the week! .... Everything about it is fabulous, but what I love most is that the music, songs, and activities have been lovingly created by thoughtful and experienced teachers. My daughter especially loves Brown Bear! We've made many friends at the class. I have reviewed it more thoroughly on my Oxford Mommy blog.
